A few things...

- So far the Battle Royale portion is not P2W but who knows going forward... I suspect itll change. It currently doesnt even have the option to choose your characters sex so its still in early dev.

- I used the wrong words. PUBG is a different graphical beast, but still runs poorly in comparison. Fortnite is not only developed by the engines creators, but has also been in development longer than PUBG. They just reworked assets and whatnot to create this game mode. End point is that this one makes much more efficient use of hardware whereas I cant even play PUBG on my system.

- PUBG creators are salty but Im not sure theyve got a case. I mean... they made a mod of ARMA based on a Japanese movie... If anything theyre giving Fortnite free advertising.

- Overall as my first "battle royale" style game I dont really enjoy it terribly much. I made it to second place and the ending circle was as small as possible and I still couldnt find the last guy. Turns out he had build a staircase into the sky and was literally about fifteen stories above the ground directly above me. He used all his ammo and by the time I realized I was being shot by the skybox it was too late... he leapt off his sky platform and blasted me with a shotgun before he hit the ground. These games are novel, but not quite for me in the long run. Interesting free experience, but I prefer the murderous Home Alone style that RB6 Siege gives me.
